Static Line Balancing of APPRODUCTIVITY 4.0
Software for designing workload balancing.
Static line Balancing
What is the most pleasing way to distribute tasks between operators and/or workstations?
APPRODUCTIVITY 4.0 Static Line Balancing determines the tasks that need to be performed at a specific time, post, or station and distributes the work among operators:
- Balancing workloads
- Perfecting the evolution of production.
- Reduce costs.
- Increased quality.
- Allows unlimited simulations for an infinite number of scenarios.
Improve efficiency, multiply productivity
The integration of APPRODUCTIVITY4.0 BALANCING with the other applications allows us to offer the best balancing tool on the market.
APPRODUCTIVITY 4.0 ensures an optimal balance of the line or cell so that the flow is continuous and even; it tries to ensure the speed of the process, improve productivity and reduce waiting times and operational costs.
Our workload balancing tool is agile, open and capable of adapting work cycles to different business needs:
Balancing individual product lines
Each product has a specific line configuration.
When the production of one model is over, and you want to make another one, you may need to increase or decrease the number of workstations or different components, or the cycle needs to be shorter or longer because the new model has a lighter workload or is older.
Orders are usually grouped until a minimum production volume is reached for a specific model. Then the line, staff, and materials are prepared to manufacture it in specific hours with a specific cycle.
Balancing multi-product line
Line balancing with mixed models is characterized by assembling several lines of the same product together or making them alternately and alternately. Not all models that come out are the same, and not all have the same workload. Medium saturation is required.
- The various products enter the line as required, that is, depending on how they are sold.
- This type of assembly line is typical for the automotive industry.
Balancing of production or assembly cells
Manufacturing or assembly cells consist of a series of workstations or machines where specific tasks are processed with cycle or process times that are difficult to divide and therefore have different utilization rates. In order to balance them, the operators have to move between the different positions of the cell.
Therefore, you need different task distribution simulations based on the exact cc quantities at a given point in time.
This concept offers great flexibility as it can produce different production volumes in the same cell depending on the number of people joining it without requiring any configuration changes.
Balancing multi-operator stations
They are assembly lines that have work cycles (clock time) with different times or even work shifts.
These types of lines are made up of a series of workstations that perform different operations previously assigned based on the machines, tools or materials.
During the duration of a work cycle (e.g. 7 hours), different professionals move in and out of the stations for various tasks. Thus, at the end of the cycle, all of the functions associated with each of the jobs must have been completed in order to pass the product to the next job.
The idea is to synchronize the tasks between people and stations to ensure the organization of work (progress of processes and saturation of people) during each hour that the product is in each of them.
