Health Situation Analysis (ASIS)

Health Situation Analysis is an analytical-synthetic process that covers a variety of analyses. They let us measure, characterize, and explain the health-disease profile of a population, including the damages and health problems as well as their determinants, whether they are, the competence of the health sector or other sectors. The ASIS facilitates the detection of health needs and priorities, the identification of appropriate interventions and programs, and the evaluation of their impact on health ”.

The update of the Health Situation Analysis ( ASIS) general, must be performed annually; In this sense, the Territorial Entities (ET) have received technical assistance and face-to-face support of the case, in addition to receiving compensation through videoconferences and the virtual course provided for this purpose. The latter has allowed the strengthening of technical capacity in the application of the Health Situation Analysis (ASIS) methodology, with a focus on social determinants of health, as well as having performed and updated the ASIS in the last three years.

To perform the ASIS update, you must follow the instructions below:

Following Article 11 of the 2015 resolution, the principle of annuity, the territorial entities that have not yet completed the ASIS updates of previous validities have to complete the process and send the missing ASIS of the department and its municipalities, as well Like the district.

It is the base document for the update of the ASIS 2018 is the ASIS 2017, through a guideline given by this Ministry, the deadline for sending the documents is December 31, 2018. For the ASIS Departmental and district, they need to send in Word and PDF format, together with their annexes and checklist, so that they can get published in the Digital Institutional Repository (RID) of this Ministry, before review and endorsement by the latter. The ASIS documents of the municipalities¸ the case checklist must be submitted in PDF format together with the technical support of the Territorial Entity, signed by the Director or Secretary of Departmental Health so that they can get arranged in the RID.
